- Alaswaq Alarabiya, the online business and finance presence of Al Arabiya News Channel, is preparing to launch an e-portal dedicated to Islamic finance products and services. The new e-portal (www.myislamicfinance.com) can be accessed at the web site of Alaswaq Alarabiya. This new service is as a result of a partnership between Mawarid Finance PJSC and Alaswaq Alarabiya website.

Qtel upgrades mobile broadband
- Qatar Telecom (Qtel) has upgraded its national HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) mobile network for the benefit of its mobile broadband customers. The network has been enhanced to deliver HSDPA 7.2 Mbps peak downlink speeds. Customers will benefit from double the previous network speeds and download capacity at no additional cost.
