Tiger Woods master plan unveiled
- Tatweer and Tiger Woods have unveiled the master plan for The Tiger Woods Dubai, the exclusive residential golf community. The project will encompass Al Ruwaya, the first golf course designed by Tiger Woods, which will offer only 200 memberships with residents of the community being given top priority. Residences at The Tiger Woods Dubai will include 22 palaces, 75 mansions, and 100 signature villas.

UAE realty companies hit 4,000
- Fakruddin Properties has noted, the increase in the number of registered real estate developers and related companies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi rising to 4,047, including 1,588 companies and contracting offices in Dubai, and 1,588 management, investment and real estate development companies in Abu Dhabi. The data were gathered from statistics released by Dubai's Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and the Dubai Land Department, as well as data released by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce.

Abyaar hails ban on speculation
- Abyaar real estate developer has hailed the decision of the Dubai government to ban speculations in the off plan realty market, seeing it as a move to contribute to the stability of Dubai real estate market. The new regulation is the foundation of the Dubai Land and Property Department and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, which is seen to better control escalating real estate prices in Dubai.

Chapal Flora hits Dhs400m sales
- Chapal said its Flora Residences villas have made Dhs400m sales revenue during its launch day. The villas development will be seen off the Emirates Road in Ajman which will comprise of 1,762 villas. The project was designed by Engr. Adnan Saffarini Architects.

Hydra Executive Towers underway
- Hydra Properties has announced it has completed 60% of excavation work for the Hydra Executive Towers located at Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi. The project consists of three towers, two of them will rise up to 30 stories each and function as offices while the third tower is planned with 24-stories and will offer serviced apartments. The project expects completion by September 2011.

Burj Lake awaits fountain name
- Emaar has announced thousands of entries have been received in its contest to name the water fountain being developed in Burj Lake within Downtown Burj Dubai. Individuals who wish to participate may suggest one name each online at a dedicated web page for the competition that can be accessed at Emaar website before it closes on September 15.

Bab Al Bahr completes pile work
- Rakeen has announced the completion of piling works for half of the residential component of the Bab Al Bahr and is set to proceed with the construction of the residential units. Al Hamra Construction Company is set to start the piling work and construction of the second half of the residential area shortly. Rakeen said the project remains firmly ahead of schedule.

Property stocks fall
- Property stocks in the Gulf declined on Thursday on concern investigations into corruption at real-estate companies in the UAE may widen, reported Bloomberg. Tamweel sank to the lowest this year, even after the company denied it's being investigated by Dubai police. Aldar Properties fell for a second day, while Emaar Properties dropped to the lowest in more than three years.
