Exhibitors told Gulf News that the Sharjah Ramadan Fair 2005 was a failure with a low turnout due to poor publicity and marketing. Some 45 sent a letter to the organisers asking for compensation. The organisers claimed the fair was a big success but offered a 30% discount on participation in the next fair.
