Oracle has announced that Abu Dhabi based Royal Jet, the private jet charter service, is deploying Oracle Customer Relationship Management to enhance loyalty among its executive and medical evacuation client base. In addition to its CRM effort, Royal Jet is also consolidating its accounting environment with Oracle Financials for effective reporting, analysis and decision-making capabilities.

GSM, Al Wasel and land line voice mail users in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will have to dial 123 to reactivate their mail boxes and set-up after November 3 following a migration of the service to an enhanced system. It will offer additional features and functionalities like new menu prompts and expanded mail capacity, Etisalat said.

Omantel has signed four contrats worth almost USD50m under plans to expand coverage throughout the sultanate. Under a USD28.6m contract, Motorola will set up 100 GSM stations in different locations in Musandam. Other contracts are with LM Ericsson, Al Zubair Telecom and Logica.
