Abu Dhabi's General Authority for Health Services has announced that a comprehensive health insurance scheme will be introduced for all its 700,000 residents from the start of next year. The premium will be Dhs1,000 per person, and hospitals will be able to send patients anywhere in the world if treatment is not available locally.
