Nissan seeks new distributor for Saudi Arabia

Japan's second-largest carmaker, Nissan Motor Co may withdraw its distributorship rights in Saudi Arabia from Al-Hamrani Co and appoint Al-Issa Co as its new agent in the kingdom, Al-Eqtisadiya Arabic daily has reported, citing informed sources. Al-Hamrani has been suffering, over the past period, from administrative problems and disputes, as well as a decline in sales, which strained its business relations with Nissan, the sources said. Emad Abdullah, deputy CEO, Al-Hamrani, said "there's no such thing. We're still Nissan's agent in the kingdom."
