Nissan showcases all-new 2013 Nissan Altima at Qatar Motor Show

Accolades for the 2013 model, which was launched in September last year, include the prestigious Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, an 'A' rating from respected auto authority Edmunds, and complimentary reviews from Cars.com and other automotive publications, with one pointing out that the Altima was America's second best-selling car behind the Toyota Camry last year.

"We took one of our most successful models, kept its DNA and changed nearly everything - the visual appeal, the driving experience and, of course, the technology," explained Atsuo Kosaka, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East.

"The new Altima reaffirms Nissan's new brand philosophy of 'Innovation and Excitement for Everyone' and challenges the traditional view of the midsize sedan," he added.
