- PRESS RELEASE
CyberSource, a Visa company, and N_K_D Pizza, an all natural carry out and delivery pizza franchise originally founded in New Orleans, announced that N_K_D Pizza has selected CyberSource to provide secure online payments in the GCC.
"N_K_D Pizza is keen to offer the benefits of eCommerce to its customer base," said Ian Ohan, CEO and Owner of N_K_D Pizza for the GCC and India. "We wanted a user-friendly and secure payment solution that would reduce our interaction with customers' sensitive payment data. CyberSource's Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant payment solutions allow us to process transactions seamlessly and safely, whilst minimising the burden of PCI compliance and providing the convenience that our customers deserve.
Mr. Ohan continued, "CyberSource's Tokenisation service stores sensitive payment information in PCI-certified data centres, bringing additional peace of mind. Upon placing an order, the customer's payment details are encrypted and transmitted directly to CyberSource for storing and processing. A token is generated allowing N_K_D to use this unique identifier instead of raw payment data—helping us to reduce the costs and complexities associated with payment security and focus on our core business."
"CyberSource is pleased to work with innovative retailers like N_K_D Pizza in the UAE. Our PCI compliant, hosted payment service integrates seamlessly with their website, allowing them to offer a similar look and feel whilst streamlining the consumer's online shopping experience," said Steve Warner, Senior Business Leader, CEMEA, CyberSource. "In using CyberSource's payment management solutions merchants across multiple sectors can benefit from the increased popularity of eCommerce—delivering more choice and flexibility to consumers, maximising payment data security and minimising the risk of fraud."
