The system integrator has provided the console as a complete AV solution to a prestigious new events and convention center in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Recently launched at the InfoComm MEA exhibition in Dubai, the PRO1 breaks new ground for MIDAS digital consoles, featuring an all-new, lightweight aluminium frame. The PRO1 is the first stand-alone MIDAS digital console, and sets new standards of portability and performance for a "compact" digital console.
It features the legendary and much-loved Midas sound characteristics, which have their roots in the classic Midas analogue consoles. The PRO1 also benefits from the same comprehensive choice of effects and dynamics processing as the PRO6 and XL8, including the much-acclaimed XL8 compressor styles.
"IAV were looking for a powerful and portable yet feasible solution for a new events venue and considered the Pro1," commented Chicco Hiranandani, Business Development Manager at NMK.
He adds, "With the ability to remotely control the console with an iPad, the venue operator has the most flexible solution at their disposal."
