A non-aviation First-Aid workshop was held at JATS on July 2, 2012 and was represented by officials of some of Jordan's premier companies and other governmental organizations.
The goal of the workshop was to introduce and to raise awareness of the new Public First Aid and Safety Training Courses that JATS has added to their training offerings for the Jordanian market. The program was devised by a JATS committee and its instructors and it emphasized the most popular Non-Aviation First Aid and Safety Courses approved by JCARC (Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission).
During the workshop JATS General Manager, Mr. Amer Fakhoury, explained the need and importance for first aid programs in Jordan. This was followed by a demo/presentation of one of the First Aid Courses presented by Senior Instructor Ms. Maha Majali and Safety Public Presentation presented by JATS' Senior Instructor Mr. Bassam Zokha.
At the end of the workshop attendees toured JATS' training facilities, to witness firsthand the high standards and professionalism of JATS' training environment.
JATS simulator portfolio includes: B767-300ER FFS, A310-300, A320-200, A320-200 FFS, B737-800NG and Embraer 170/190, which provide complete training packages that offer a wide range of simulator and ground school for engineers, pilots and airline staff from the international airline community.
The Cabin Crew Safety and Services training facility is capable of delivering high quality training courses for all aviation levels ranging from basic training through refresher and advanced levels.
