Octal triples capacity for PET resin production in Oman

Oman's Octal has said it has tripled its annual production capacity of PET resin used for water, juice and soft drink bottles this month with the commissioning of two of the world's largest vertical reactors at the company's PET complex in Salalah, Muscat Daily has reported. The company's total system output of one million metric tonnes per year of PET bottle grade resin, makes Octal the largest PET producing site in the world at any single location, the company said.
