Oman to add third lane to Bidbid-Sur road

Oman's transport ministry has decided to add a third lane to the Bidbid-Sur road dualisation project, as traffic, trade, tourism and industry grew in North and South Sharqiyah governorates, Muscat Daily has reported. The ministry is currently implementing the first stage of the road dualisation project, starting from Bidbid intersection on the Al Rusayl/Nizwa road until Masroon roundabout in the wilayat of Ibra, covering about 115km. The project includes the construction of a number of flyovers and multi-level cross roads.
