Oman cracks down on private healthcare centres

Oman's health ministry has suspended licences of three private healthcare centres in Muscat governorate and imposed fines totalling more than OR6,000 on several others found violating the ministry's regulations, Muscat Daily has reported. Inspectors from the ministry found that some staff members at these health centres were unlicensed and that laboratories, x-ray and physiotherapy units were functioning with unqualified staff.
