Oman partners with Eli Lilly to fight diabetes

Global pharmaceutical Eli Lilly and Co has teamed up with Oman's health ministry to boost diabetes education and management in the sultanate, Times of Oman has reported. The three-year partnership would focus on education and disease burden research, to help decision makers and healthcare professionals to tackle diabetes. The partnership will utilise 'The Diabetes Conversation Maps', an educational tool developed by Healthy Interactions in collaboration with the International Diabetes Federation and sponsored globally by the US-based firm, to drive better education among patients and caregivers in Oman.
