The executive president of the Omani central bank, Hamood bin Sangour al Zadjali, has welcomed a proposal by the Arab Tourism Organisation (ATO) to set up a Tourism Bank in the sultanate and said the country is open to such ideas including a Pan-Arab Tourism Bank, Oman Daily Observer has reported. "We are open to such ideas that cater to the increasing tourist population because it can add on to the country's bet to be a better tourism destination," Zadjali was quoted as saying by the daily. "Having said that, we are yet to receive any information as to where they have reached with the project," said al Zadjali.
