Oman-based Gulf Investment Services Holding Co (GIS) has said it has bought 28 apartments in Dubai worth around OR1.24m ($3.22m) as the investment firm seeks to boost its property portfolio in the region, Muscat Daily has reported. GIS said it expects the investment to increase amid signs of a recovery in Dubai's property market. "The 28 apartments are fully built and leased out to tenants, from whom the company is expected to earn regular income and also benefit from potential capital appreciation in real estate in Dubai in the future," GIS said.
