Omani oil marketing firms post 7% in combined net income

Omani oil marketing companies have reported a 7.21% rise in combined net profit for the year ended December 31, 2012, Muscat Daily has reported. The combined net income reported by Oman Oil Marketing, Shell Oman Marketing and Al Maha Petroleum Products reached OR31.35m, compared with OR29.24m during 2011. The oil marketing sector also witnessed 9.13% year-on-year growth in total revenue to OR986.6m from OR904m.
