Oman-headquartered Al Jazeera Steel has said the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has filed an anti-dumping suit against various countries, including Oman, for selling below the fair price based on allegations by the lawyers of the local manufacturers in Canada, Times of Oman has reported. "As our business interest in Canada are limited and the potential of our speculative volumes not substantial, we decided not to contest the allegation of Canada International Trade Tribune (CITT)," the steelmaker said. "We further decided not to export to Canada till the matter was resolved and there shall be no impact in the operation of the company," the firm added.
