Oman's link to GCC power grid completed

Oman's Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) has announced that all three phases of GCC power grid linking have been completed and the grid is successfully in operation, Times of Oman has reported. The grid that links all the six Gulf Cooperation Council countries aims at ensuring an adequate supply of power even in emergencies and also reducing the cost of power generation in member countries.
