Oman's Muttawar launches $97m residential project

Muttawar Omani Co has unveiled a new residential project to be developed jointly with Global Omani Development and Investment Co (Glorei) as its principal shareholder, Muscat Daily has reported. The Lamar project is expected to cost around OR37.5m ($97.4m). "The foundation work for Lamar is complete, and we are in the process of building the first slab as per the project's blueprint. Potential buyers can expect to move in by the end of 2014," said chairman of Muttawar and board member of Glorei, Abdulatif Mousa al Abdulrazzaq.
