Oman's Phoenix Power plans IPO in 2015

Phoenix Power Co, which owns Oman's 2,000MW Sur independent power project (IPP) under construction, is planning to launch an initial public offering (IPO) by the summer of 2015, Times of Oman has reported. The company, which is expected to contribute almost 30% of overall electricity in Oman once fully commissioned, will offer 35% of its $350m paid-up capital to investing public.
