Omran to build resort in Dhofar

Oman's government-owned tourism development firm, Omran is to build a new resort in the area of Al Maghseel in Dhofar, Oman Daily Observer has reported. Construction work on the Al Maghseel Resort project is expected to commence sometime later this year, said Abdulwahid al Farsi, vice president for external affairs at Omran. "Various services and facilities will be available, including accommodation, entertainment and an aerial tramway," al Farsi said. "The resort will be open to visitors all year long. Average (guest) stay will vary from 3-5 days," he noted.
