Ooredoo awards Level 3 content delivery network deal

Qatar's Ooredoo has signed an agreement with Level 3 Communications to a launch content delivery network node in Doha, the Peninsula has reported. The strategic long-term agreement aims to enhance connectivity and offer businesses a more extensive breadth of services for connecting to Qatar, the Middle East and around the world, said Ooredoo. "The launch of this new Level 3 content delivery network node in Doha is an important next step in our international connectivity strategy to make Qatar one of the best-connected countries in the world," said the chief wholesale and international officer at Ooredoo, Yousuf Al Kubaisi.
