National Arab Motors has announced that the new Optima Hybrid is now available in its showrooms. The Optima Hybrid has appeared in the Guinness Book of World Records as the vehicle with the lowest fuel consumption. The car appeals to those who seek exceptional performance and stunning design while being environmentally conscious.
The Optima Hybrid boasts electric-powered air conditioning that works even when the gasoline engine is not running, further improving its fuel economy while providing maximum comfort. Optima Hybrid's 6-speed automatic transmission operates in conjunction with a smart gear shift program to ensure optimal fuel efficiency. Its cluster screen features vivid graphics on the center display, and provides a wealth of useful information, indicating whether the car is operating with the electric motor or the gasoline engine, displaying current and average fuel economy, and even offering a readout that depicts green leaves growing as driving habits become more fuel efficient.
Commenting on the occasion, Samir Tayeh, President of National Arab Motors - Kia Jordan, said,: "We are pleased to introduce the Optima Hybrid to the Jordanian market, as Kia Jordan always seeks to provide the latest models to its customers. The new Optima Hybrid exemplifies our commitment to preserving the environment and meeting the desires of a growing segment in Jordan - individuals who wish to own a car that is both stylish in design and technologically advanced."
Optima Hybrid received two prestigious awards in 2012 from the famous television program "Motoring", including "Overall 2012 Car of the Year" and "Best New Family Car", based on its advanced features and environmentally friendly qualities.
