Oracle launches Network Applications Platform

Oracle has released a bundled hardware and software package for the enterprise communication services market. The company said its Network Applications Platform would provide an all-in-one package for the communications and network services market. Based on the Sun Netra and ZFS Storage hardware systems, the platform also combines the Oracle Linux, VM, Enterprise Manager and Communications Service Availability to produce a fully integrated system which can be easily deployed. Oracle estimates that the integrated platform can save customers up 33% in costs related to integration and testing processes.
