OREA to oversee Oman's housing sector

The newly formed Oman Real Estate Association (OREA) has said it will oversee future housing developments in the sultanate, Muscat Daily has reported. The association will focus on promoting real estate development and ensuring a uniform and adequate supply of housing for all segments of society, said chairman of OREA, Mohammed al Busaidi. "We are looking to contribute to the development of professional practices and raising the level of transparency in the sector."
