- PRESS RELEASE
Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH), one of the world's leading centres for treating sick children, announced the global launch of its Arabic website.
This development allows the growing numbers of GOSH's Arabic speaking visitors and regional partners to find all relevant information in their preferred language on the various medical conditions that can affect children, and discover more about the pioneering treatments available at GOSH. The website provides a unique interface, with points of interest for patients and parents and the latest updated information on all activities and success stories, plus services offered and details of current projects.
"This is not just another language version of the GOSH website; it is locally adapted and created with the specific needs and concerns of our Middle East visitors in mind. We are currently increasing our Middle East content and are keen to provide this region with a dedicated site. The health sector in the Middle East is evolving at a rapid pace and GOSH is dedicated to delivering the full range of services and information that this region requires," commented Trevor Clarke, Director of International Patient Services, GOSH.
GOSH has more than 50 different specialties under one roof, and had more than 9,000 patients visiting from the Gulf region in 2010/2011. As a part of its continuous global awareness outreach, GOSH is participating in the leading 3rd Kuwait Medica Conference and Exhibition as Silver Sponsors which is taking place from 16th - 18th April 2012.
