Palm Hills reports lower nine-month losses

Egypt's second-biggest listed developer, Palm Hills has reported a net loss of EGP83.3m ($13.7m) in the first nine months of 2012, compared with a loss of EGP99.1m a year earlier, Reuters has reported. The real estate firm, battered by investigations into previous state land sales and by client cancellations after the uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak last year, has made few new sales over the past 21 months.
