  • PRESS RELEASE

Continuing to bring the best of the worldwide Paperworld brand to the Middle East, the third edition of Paperworld Middle East 2013 is set to kick off next week at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The 2013 edition sees an 18% growth in exhibitor numbers since its launch in 2011, reflecting the growth trends in the office supplies, stationery and paper products industry.

240 exhibitors will be vying for the attention of key buyers and trade visitors during the three days of the show. They include manufacturers of paper products, specialty paper, office suppliers, stationery manufacturers and writing instrument manufacturers.

"Paperworld Middle East's growth reflects the exciting potential embedded in the region for office products, stationery and paper products. It also provides leading international players with valuable insight into regional trends and market preferences, that otherwise would be difficult to discern," said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of organiser, Epoc Messe Frankfurt.

The Middle East edition's growing stature regionally can be gauged by the significant number of new exhibitors who have signed up for the March 5th to 7th trade fair. The fair has established itself as a key vehicle for enhancing trade relationships and fostering new business links across the region. Furthermore, a host of new product launches will be seen at the fair.

Nuco International, a leading supplier of paper based stationery products are excited to announce that Fedregoni, manufacturers of Fabriano notebooks, have chosen Nuco International as their distribution partner for the Middle East. Nuco International will be using the exhibition as a platform to launch this exciting range of Italian notebooks which add elegance and Italian style to your note-taking. Brian Hall, Commercial Director at Nuco, said: "We had a great experience at Paperworld Middle East last year which is why we are returning. We expect to make more business contacts at this year's edition as well as build on initial relationships formed during last year's participation."

Next week's edition is expected to draw in representation from the region's industry professionals including: wholesalers, distributors, hypermarkets & supermarkets, stationery shops, paper & office suppliers, gift shops, publishers & printers, bookshops, children's shops, and schools & universities.

Paperworld Middle East's primary product categories are: Office Supplies, School Articles, Gift Articles, Greeting Cards/Calendars, Wrapping Material, Office Paper & Films and Household Paper & Films.

Playworld Middle East - a trade exhibition for toys, games and children's lifestyle products - is running parallel to the fair. The two fairs offer a variety of synergies and supplementary products, particularly in the hobby and handicrafts segments.
