Parsons announces new Aviation VP and Area Manager

Parsons is pleased to announce that Khaled Naja has joined the firm as a Vice President and Area Manager within its Aviation Division. In this capacity, he will serve in Doha, Qatar, as the Deputy Program Director for the New Doha International Airport North Terminal Project.

Mr. Naja has 15 years of experience in infrastructure operations, maintenance, and construction management. Prior to joining Parsons, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the Chicago Department of Aviation.

In that role, Mr. Naja was responsible for the daily management of facilities maintenance as well as for airside and landside operations at O'Hare International Airport.

He also had managerial oversight over design and construction, noise, sustainability and environmental compliance at both O'Hare and Midway International Airports, including the $6.6bn O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP).

Mr. Naja's previous experiences include construction management responsibilities on the OMP and the Washington Dulles International Airport capital development program.

Mr. Naja is a registered professional engineer and holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Virginia and a master's degree in construction engineering and management from Pennsylvania State University.
