- PRESS RELEASE
Marketing and Public Relations Department Deputy Manager at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Saeed Tawfiqi said that the journalism competition that KFH launches in collaboration with Kuwait Journalism Association (KJA) witnesses an increasing number of contestants in its various fields.
He added that the contestants can submit their articles until the 31st of January.
He asked the journalists taking part in the competition to view the competition as a form of honoring of Kuwaiti journalism, regardless of the names of the winners.
He asserted that KFH is keen to award those who deserve to win under the supervision of the KJA, and praised the association for its pivotal role in making the competition successful.
Moreover, Tawfiqi explained that the competition includes various fields of journalism, where each branch of journalism is entitled to three awards, which makes the total number of awards in the competition 12 awards.
He noted that any journalist working at a daily newspaper or a weekly magazine, can take part in the competition, if the journalist's article were locally published in 2012. However, every journalist is limited by two submissions only in every branch of the competition, in order to allow the highest number of journalists to take part in the competition.
Tawfiqi thanked all those who took part in the competition during the past four years, and wished the contestants luck.
