Peacock to manage first 5 star hotel in Sulaimaniya

As part of the company expansion plans, Peacock has recently announced that the company will be managing the new 5 star Highcrest Hotel in Sulaimaniya, Iraq.

Peacock is confident in the growth prospects of the regional hospitality market that is expected to reach 2.5 million tourists within the region by end of the year

Highcrest will be the first 5 star hotel to be opening in Sulaimaniya and will be a pioneer in regards to services which are new to the area, such as a full Health Club and Spa, meeting room facilties and the largest ballroom existing in Sulaimaniya.

Ghassan Jaber, CEO of Peacock International Hotel Management, said, "There is an increasing demand for quality services in this region's hospitality industry, especially in Sulaimaniya following the recent development. This has encouraged us to expand our services to Sulaimaniya which is witnessing a growing need for accommodation facilities to meet all the standards and requirements of all tourists and visitors."

Other than the mentioned facilities, the 5 star hotel includes 92 rooms and suites, a themed restaurant and an Olympic-size pool.

Peacock will be managing the property after conducting all technical services from a construction consultancy to the pre-opening process, including training of staff to the operational handover to the management.

These processes will facilitate the hotel's owner to open multiple hotels in the future under the same name, which was created and activated together with Peacock's branding partner, re-brand-ing.

The process completed for Highcrest Hotel, from branding to the handover, falls in line with Peacock International Hotel Management's strategy in creating hotel brands and chains for individuals or companies.
