PepsiCo launches the Learning Program at the Children Cancer Center of Lebanon

PepsiCo, one of the world's largest food and beverage companies, announced the launch of its Learning Program at the Children Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), an affiliate of St Jude Children Research Hospital.
PepsiCo invested in a number of arts and musical instruments, such as piano, guitars, flutes, bongo, drums and darbouka as well as afull-fledged comprehensive arts kitand a full suite of safety-approved furniture to equip the learning center completely. The aim is to create a nurturing environment in which children can enjoy developing their creative skills during their treatment at CCCL under the supervision and guide from their instructors.
Marwan Istaitie, PepsiCo's East Mediterranean and Africa Business Unit General Manager, said, "We are delighted to launch PepsiCo's Learning Program. This initiative will provide long-term educational benefits to the children of CCCL as it exposes them to art and music in a structured environment." He added, "We are indebted to the invaluable support that this program has already received from the children's families, the CCCL team, and the wider community. Together, we have worked hard to create something that will provide hope and happy moments for years to come."
Mrs. Hana Chaar Choueib,CCCL General Manager, in her turn thanked all those who made this project possible and highlighted that the environment that we strive to ensure to our CCCL kids is one that is healthy and amusing to comfort them in their treatment time and thanked PepsiCo and assured that this is just the start of the Learning program and of a long term partnership.
