Petra received 15% more visitors in February

According to the Petra Archaeological Park (PAP), the number of visitors of different nationalities who have visited Petra in February rose 15% to a total of 43,761, compared with the same month in 2012, Jordan Times has reported. The city's revenues generated from entry and service tickets amounted at JD850,000, up 18% over the JD720,000 generated in February 2012.
