The Pink Caravan rides into Masdar Institute Plaza, Abu Dhabi

Taking Pink Caravan's campaign message 'awareness is the first step towards a cure' to the heart of the corporate world each day during the month of October, Pink Caravans' 'Turn the UAE Pink campaign' moves to Abu Dhabi for the day, with the 'Wellness Campaign' being hosted by the Abu Dhabi-based Masdar Institute - one of the most revolutionary and ambitious renewable energy projects in the region.
Ameera Bin Karam, President of the Pink Caravan, said, "The campaign is a roaring success. It is continuously being welcomed by corporate employees and guests, We want to make sure that both men and women are able to receive the necessary clinical and educational training and if they can't come to us, we are bringing it to them."
At the Masdar Institute Plaza, Pink Caravan horses and volunteer riders presented an even larger impact to the attending guests. The Pink Caravan horses promote the campaign's 'Pink Caravan Ride', the third edition of which will be taking place in February 2013. Attendees were encouraged to purchase their own piece of the 'Turn the UAE Pink' map to aid with the campaigns target goals, and even volunteer themselves as riders.
The Pink Caravan's Wellness team of medical practitioners have screened and examined hundreds of women for unusual cellular development, advising on further checkups where necessary. Medical experts have also been giving educational lectures to instill the importance of self-examination, which will help significantly reduce the chances of breast cancer. The Wellness team is also accompanied by professionals from K-Lynn and experts from Polished Spa, whose continued dedication to the campaign has shown their support of Pink Caravans' noble goals.
Dr Sultan Al Jaber, CEO of Masdar and UAE's special envoy for energy and climate change, commented, "Pink Caravan is working for a noble cause and we are glad to be hosting their pink campaign in Abu Dhabi this month. Spreading awareness about breast cancer is not just for October, Pink Caravan is working to ensure that it is never out of the spotlight."
