Asustek Computer has announced Google Inc. is set to unveil a tablet co-branded with the Taiwanese computer hardware and electronics maker, Reuters has reported. The new device will be priced to compete with Amazon's Kindle Fire device, an Asustek executive said. "It's targeting Amazon. The Kindle is based on Google's platform but with its own service, so Google has to launch its own service, too," the executive said, declining to provide further details on the tablet's price, specifications or launch timetable.
