Prince Alwaleed receives Yemeni Minister of Health

HRH Prince Awaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received HE Dr. Ahmed Qasim Al-Ansi and an accompanying delegation that included Dr. Omar Abdullah Charge D' Affair, Yemen Embassy to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdullah Dahan, Minister's Consultant.
The meeting began with the Minister thanking HRH for giving him the opportunity to meet him. During the meeting the two discussed general issues, Kingdom Holding Company investments in Yemen and the latest general developments on the international and regional fronts.
Prince Alwaleed visited Yemen during the trip, Prince Alwaleed was awarded the highest honorary medal in Yemen. The Prince participated in the inauguration Al Dhafir village project, to which he made a donation through Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation-Global that is chaired by His Highness and is Vice Chaired by HH Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel who is also the Secretary General, to help re-construct the disaster affected village which struck in December of 2005. The project comprises of 100 developed housing units, each housing unit is 160 square meters, with two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a surrounding garden. The total cost of the 100 housing units is SR30m.
Moreover, during the Prince's trip, he was presented with the Key to the City of Sana'a.
Prince Alwaleed's investments in the hospitality sector in Yemen include the Movenpick hotels and resorts management.
