Promotion for HR Manager at Grand Millennium Dubai

Tamim Hamamah has been promoted to Director of Human Resources from his former role as HR manager at the Grand Millennium Dubai, he came to Dubai in 1994 to develop his career in hospitality and specifically within HR which he is truly passionate about.

Tamim, who has been working in the human resources sector for a decade joined the Grand Millennium Dubai in its pre-opening phase in 2007, and now heads up a career development and recruitment department responsible for a team of 360 staff members.

"Service standards in Dubai are extremely high, and the success of a hotel's operation lies within the hands of the front liners who reflect back the image and service of the hotel," said Tamim.

He has been representing Grand Millennium Dubai in career fairs throughout the UAE seeking impressive caliber for existing and future vacancies. As another important element of his current objectives Mr. Hamamah has been extremely supportive in promoting sustainable environmental practices.

"With a multi-cultural mix of visitors, it is essential to employ a variety of nationalities within all departments - as well as nurturing the local UAE talent - and this is the essence of the role of the human resources department."

Tamim a Syrian national discovered his passion for the hospitality industry and began a career in hotels since he moved to Dubai in 1993.
