Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance, Royal Oman Police announce Fire Safety Technology Forum Oman

Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance, Royal Oman Police together with IQPC and GEC are organising the first annual Fire Safety Technology Forum Oman on 4 and 5 March 2013 at Al Bustan Palace in Muscat, Oman.
Fire Safety Technology Forum Oman is an international conference and exhibition dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in technologies, techniques and products that will help prevent major fire disasters and overcome everyday safety challenges. This event will bring together over 80 Fire Chiefs, Officers and Engineers from a range of cross-industry sectors including: oil and gas, utilities, airports, seaports, construction, defence infrastructure and tourism; to learn and implement the latest techniques and strategies from technical presentations and case studies.
The Forum will feature key international speakers including: Mitsuo Yamamoto, Counselor to Battalion Division Chief-Firefighting Section, Tokyo Fire Department, Japan, Michael Kelly, Director-Fire Safety, Emaar Properties, UAE and Vij Randeniya, President, Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA). In addition, there will be contributions from national fire experts including: Major Harib Zahran Al Nabhani, Assistant Director of Fire Prevention, Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance; Micheal Huggins, HSE Manager, Public Authority for Electricity and Water; Mohammed Al Mashani, Senior Manager - HSSE, Port Of Salalah, Suwaid Al Shamaisi, Executive Manager-HSSE, Sohar Port.
Current sponsors include: Saudi Factory for Fire Equipment (SFFECO), International College for Engineering and Management (ICEM), Teejan Group and Safti First, who will be displaying and educating on advanced state-of-the-art technologies and products, which are in great demand to combat major disasters.
