Q1 Labs and SecureLink ally to drive greater security intelligence across the Middle East

  • United Arab Emirates: Monday, September 03 - 2012 at 12:40
  • PRESS RELEASE

SecureLink announced that it has partnered with Q1 Labs, an IBM company, to provide its solutions in the Middle East. Q1 Labs has been positioned as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM published by Gartner, Inc. in May 2012.

Organizations face a landscape with high-impact corporate breaches, growing mobile security concerns and advanced security threats.

Businesses must be equipped to identify threats, detect insider fraud, predict business risk and address regulatory mandates. Q1 Labs' advanced analytics and correlation capabilities can automatically detect and flag actions across an enterprise that deviate from prescribed policies and typical behavior to help prevent breaches, such as an employee accessing unauthorized information.

"The addition of Q1 Labs into our portfolio is a natural extension to SecureLink's security model of Intelligence, Protection and Validation. This partnership will accelerate SecureLink's efforts to work with our esteemed clients in the Middle East region to more effectively secure their enterprises by using real-time intelligence generated through application of analytics to correlate information from key security domains." said Kuber Saraswat, Director - Strategic Security Consulting at SecureLink.

"IBM Q1 Labs views SecureLink as one of the Key Security Solutions Service Providers in the Middle East. Their deep knowledge and extensive experience in the IT Security arena enables them to be a premium IBM Q1 Labs partner." said Jude Anand, Business Unit Executive, Q1 Labs (IBM Security System Division).
