Qalhat LNG inks scholarships pact

Oman's Qalhat LNG has signed an agreement, for the sixth consecutive year, to support the educational programme of the Oman Charitable Organisation, Oman Daily Observer has reported. Under the agreement, Qalhat LNG is to sponsor 81 students from needy families in their degree and diploma studies. The firm has so far supported 428 scholarships totalling OR825,000 in value.
