The announcement was unveiled through an official ceremony held at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, Dubai, where the first partnership agreement was signed with Juma Al Majid Est - the exclusive dealer of Hyundai in the UAE - who will offer a series of awards and promotions, with special discounts on the extensive range of Hyundai vehicles. This comes coupled with exceptional after-sale service in all centres affiliated with Hyundai for the best all-around experience.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qatami and Juma Al Majid, Chairman of Juma Al Majid Group, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, TRA Director General, along with directors of government communication in the ministries and federal agencies, and representatives from both sides.

HE Humaid Al Qutami delivered an opening speech, saying it is both gratifying and a pleasure to announce that one of the biggest and largest community-based initiatives has been created, which will offer special privileges to staff of the Federal Government.

HE explained that the privileges would touch the lives of approximately 70 thousand employees working in ministries and federal bodies, and play host to a number of partnerships with private sector institutions that would secure a series of lucrative offers in the form of various goods and services provided.

He continued: "This development came about in the pursuit of staff support as we motivate employees; promoting higher levels of job satisfaction and loyalty."

Juma Al Majid commended the role of the federal government in supporting and invigorating federal employees, for the great impact it will have in propelling the UAE's rank among developed nations.
He also called upon public and private sectors to open more channels of communication in order to continue to create lucrative partnerships between the two, stressing their integral role that federal employees play and the need to honour their endeavours.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar commented that the commission, through its various projects and initiatives, aspires towards fulfilling the goals set in place by the federal government strategy and the UAE Vision 2021, under the wise leadership presented by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.

He thanked Juma Al Majid for having a sense of responsibility towards society in all of its components, and its fruitful cooperation with the Commission, and the speed of their response to the call for special privileges that benefit the largest employment sectors in the state, which in turn meant that the group was the first institution from the private sector to sign with the initiative.

His Excellency pointed out that the partnership agreement was signed at a time when similar arrangements were being arranged with other institutions. He called upon other companies to follow the commendable example of Juma Al Majid Group in serving the community with its overwhelming willingness to cooperate.

In turn, said Khalid Issa, Chief Operating Officer at Juma Al Majid Group said: "We are proud to be supporting the vision of the initiate set forth by the Federal Authority in our bid to strengthen the alliance between public and private sectors. Endowing special privileges to federal employees serves to show our appreciation for their extensive efforts, while supporting them as they work towards the progress and the prosperity of the UAE."

He continued: "In providing special offers and facilities to federal government employees, we can do so while projecting the core principles of our corporation - one built on providing satisfaction through a mixture of honesty, integrity and social awareness. We would like to thank all who have made this partnership possible through their cooperation during the various stages of the project."

Mr. Abdullah Al Shwab, Director of Government Communication of the Commission, concluded that this partnership comes from a full understanding of the importance of bridging the gap between public and private sectors, establishing lucrative partnerships between the two. "We are confident that this move forward is a step in the direction of a more flourishing social and economic state."
