Qatar to build workers' housing over 900 plots

Qatar's municipality and urban planning ministry has allocated 900 plots, each measuring 1,000 sq m, for workers' housing, Gulf Times has reported. The first stage includes 400 plots in northern localities such as Umm Salal, Al Khor and Umm Alzbar, with another 100 plots to be provided in Al Wakrah. Each plot will accommodate 150 workers. The move is part of a government campaign to relocate bachelor workers in Doha, Rayyan and Umm Salal.
