Qatar Foundation is seeking to recruit Qataris

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is currently seeking to recruit over 70 Qataris for a host of exciting career opportunities. As part of the organisation's ongoing commitment to the training and hiring of capable Qataris, the Human Resources Directorate is searching for qualified candidates to work in various fields, such as information technology, marketing, teaching and engineering.

Guided by its strong leadership and the principle that a country's greatest resource is the potential of its people, Qatar is keen to achieve its human development goals by increasing the number of nationals within its workforce.

"We are determined to build a qualified workforce by recruiting new talent, and we encourage both recent graduates and more skilled job seekers to consider the many career opportunities that are on offer at Qatar Foundation," said Mr Hassan Al Hammadi, Executive Director of the Human Resources Directorate.

"We invest heavily in our human capital by providing Qataris with professional training programmes to help them progress in their chosen fields, and contribute substantially to their country's expanding knowledge economy," he added.

Employment is open to Qataris with varying skill sets from entry-level graduates to more experienced professionals. Younger applicants are encouraged to apply for internships and entry-level positions, in order to develop the necessary expertise for the job market.

The human resources department will also be reviewing CVs submitted during the Qatar Career Fair in 2012 and through the Foundation's website.

Qatar Foundation will invite shortlisted candidates to attend its Recruitment Open Day, which will be held on 28 January 2013 at the Foundation's Student Center.

During the full-day event, Qataris will be given a chance to meet with employers and network with other key personnel. Representatives from the education, science and community development divisions will also be readily available to answer queries.

Qualified applicants are likely to receive full-time employment offers and will be given a presentation to brief them about Qatar Foundation's numerous initiatives.
