Qatar to introduce guidelines for food handlers

Qatar's Supreme Council of Health (SCH) is set to introduce this year a new set of guidelines to ensure that food and beverage handlers in restaurants across the country are disease-free, Gulf Times has reported. The health care sector regulator also plans to implement, later this year, an early warning system, in collaboration with the World Health Organisation, which will improve surveillance on the outbreak of food poisoning and other food-borne diseases.
