Qatar Q2 trade surplus fell to $26bn

According to Qatar Statistics Authority, the Gulf country's foreign trade surplus narrowed to QR94.4bn ($25.9bn) in the second quarter of 2012, from QR102.1bn in the previous three months, Reuters has reported. The exports of liquefied natural gas dipped to QR49.2bn in the April to June period from QR50bn in the previous quarter, the data showed.
