Qatar Science and Technology Park hosts technical tour for delegates attending PowerGen Middle East

As the official Technology Partner of POWER-GEN Middle East 2013 exhibition, Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) will be hosting a series of technical tours at their premises for delegates from around the world on 4th of February. These tours will give delegates the opportunity to visit QSTP's cutting-edge facilities.
QSTP was established with the aim of growing Qatar's "knowledge-based economy" by encouraging companies and institutes from around the world to develop and commercialize their technology in Qatar, and by helping entrepreneurs launch technology businesses. In just a short time, it has evolved into a unique business model of science and technology parks, becoming a centre for research and development in four areas: Energy, Environment, Health Sciences, and Information and Communication Technologies.
Commenting on the delegation's visit, Khaled Al Remithi, Communications Director of QSTP said: "POWER-GEN Middle East is an important event that attracts key global players in the power industry to exchange and experience the latest trends and developments. QSTP is therefore proud to host this delegation of experts as it gives us the opportunity to showcase to them how QSTPis spearheadings ome of the most advanced research in this area".
POWER-GEN Middle East 2013 conference and exhibition, which is taking place from 4 to 6 February 2013 at Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha is one of the world's biggest power industry events. Apart from being a platform to exchange the latest technological developments in the power industry, it serves an important gateway to reiterate the role of the Middle East region as one of the most dynamic power sectors in the world.
