Qatar to set up tenders panel

The Qatari cabinet has approved a draft resolution to set up a 'Tenders & Auctions Committee' at the municipality and urban planning ministry, the Peninsula has reported. The committee is to assume the powers of the central and local tenders committees, and will be composed of representatives from the municipality and urban planning ministry, the justice ministry, the central tenders committee at the economy and finance ministry, and the court of accounts.
