Qatar TV installs SGL archive solution

Qatar TV has launched a new broadcast facility with a FlashNet archive solution by Software Generation (SGL), TVB Europe has reported. The broadcaster has installed a digital workflow based around an Avid production environment in its new, three-studio facility to enable the re-launch of two Qatar TV channels. The state-of-the-art facility, which is due to go on air later this year, will produce and playout material in-house for the channels.
