Qataris invited to test new airport

The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and Qatar Airways has invited Qatari citizens to take part in a three-day trial run at the Hamad International Airport (HIA) ahead of its April launch, the Peninsula has reported. To be held today, on February 27 and on March 4 between 7am and 2pm, the trial would involve a mock check-in and 'passengers' would undergo all the normal procedures they are expected to go through before boarding a plane, said the QCAA.
